Henderson, NV - Boy Struck while Riding Bike to School

Henderson, NV (August 27, 2018) – A 12-year old boy who was riding his bicycle to school was struck by a vehicle in Henderson Monday morning, August 27th. Henderson Police department is reporting that the auto vs bicyclist collision occurred just after 7:00 a.m. as the boy was riding his bike toward Brown Junior High School near the intersection of Emden Drive and Warm Springs Road, near Lake Mead Parkway.
According to police the boy was struck by a Ford pickup truck whose driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. The boy was transported to University Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition. There is no other information on the boy’s injuries and no other information has been made available at this time. The investigation continues.
