While it’s still too early to know for certain if Nevada has flattened its curve of growing cases, the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services is now reporting smaller increases of day-to-day deaths caused by COVID-19 statewide. Health officials expected an increase in positive cases as more test kits became available, which did happen.
Las Vegas, NV – 1 driver is in critical condition after a 2 car collision in a neighborhood near McCarran International Airport early Monday morning, April 13th. The collision occurred shortly before 5:00 A.M. near the intersection of South Pecos Road and East Quail Avenue. According to eyewitnesses, the driver of a 2008 Jeep Patriot was traveling northbound on Pecos Road north of Quail Avenue. A 1999 Ford Taurus was seen exiting a private drive westbound onto Pecos Road.
Enterprise, NV – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has announced the death of an elderly male who had been the sole victim of a single –vehicle roll over collision Monday evening, April 13th. The incident occurred at approximately 7:55 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a single vehicle roll over collision that occurred on South Buffalo Drive, just north of West Torino Avenue. Evidence at the scene along with eyewitness statements, and video surveillance, indicate that a 2010 Toyota Prius was traveling southbound on South Buffalo Drive at an excessive rate of speed.
On Easter Sunday the United States surpassed 550,000 cases of CODVID-19 or Coronavirus as millions of Christians were forced to celebrate the Easter holiday from the safety of their homes. Many Churches were able to honor social distancing effort by live-streaming their Easter services to their congregants, while other churches still gathered at houses of worship, putting the public and loves ones at a higher risk for contraction in those areas.
