Pahrump, NV (September 26, 2018) – One man is dead and another seriously injured after a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday, September 26th, on state Route 160 between Pahrump and Las Vegas, Nevada Highway Patrol reports. Officers responded to a call at around 3 p.m. when a green Ford Explorer travelling southbound on Route 160 overturned onto the side of the highway, and two men ejected from the vehicle.
Las Vegas, NV (September 21, 2018) – A 36-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a fatal crash in the northwest valley Friday night, September 21st, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. Officers responded to a call at the 3000 block of North Rainbow Boulevard near West Cheyenne Avenue at around 10:23 p.m. Reports indicate a driver of a black 1997 Chevrolet, identified as 21-year-old Ryan Mckeel, was driving northbound on Rainbow Boulevard in the center turn lane. At the same time, the driver of a red 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle, an unidentified 36-year-old man, was heading south on Rainbow on the far-left lane. Mckeel attempted a left turn in front of the motorcyclist which resulted in the crash, police said.
Las Vegas, NV (September 17, 2018) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said a major crash left 3 people seriously injured, including a 10-year-old boy in critical condition, on Saturday night, September 17th. Paul McCullough, a sergeant with the Metro’s Traffic Bureau, says the crash occurred near East Vegas Valley Drive and South Mountain Vista Street at around 11:30 p.m. An elderly driver of a grey Toyota was turning left onto East Vegas Valley Drive when he was rear-ended by a white Nissan Altima with three occupants.
Las Vegas, NV – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is reporting that an officer was involved in a roll-over crash early Thursday morning in Spring Valley near West Tropicana Avenue and South Rainbow Boulevard. Police statements indicate that the officer was responding to reports of a person with a gun when he activated his lights and began cutting across traffic. The officer then collided with a driver of a Mercedes-Ben as the driver failed to notice the officer weaving through traffic. Although the police cruiser was overturned, both occupants did have any major injuries. The officer was later transported to a nearby medical center for treatment of slight pain. Metro traffic officials closed the intersection during the investigation as well as roads nearby. Hours later the intersection was reopened and the flow of traffic resumed as usual.

Police report that a driver of a 2011 Campagna T-Rex vehicle was traveling south on Grand Canyon Drive when it was struck by a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Jean, NV – Authorities report that a small single-engine aircraft was downed between I-15 northbound and Las Vegas Boulevard South Wednesday night, September 5th with the pilot of the aircraft confirmed dead. The stretch of land where the plane crashed, about 30 miles south of Las Vegas near Jean Airport, was first responded to by the Clark County Fire Department before the incident was handed over to other officials, including the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Federal Aviation Administration.
