Motorcycle Driver Killed, Passenger Critical

A collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck has left one dead and another in serious condition late Monday night.
The occupants of the motorcycle, whose identities have not been released, were traveling eastbound on Ann Road at a dangerous speed when they collided with a 2003 Ford pickup truck attempting to make a left turn onto Rio Vista Road, near Rainbow Boulevard.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene, and his passenger were violently thrown from the bike as a result of the impact.
The passenger was immediately transported to University Medical Center and is currently listed in serious condition.
The driver of the truck, a 41-year-old woman, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
