Man Dies In Hospital Days after Scooter Crash in Las Vegas

The collision occurred on Wednesday at approximately 4:15 p.m. on West Washington Avenue, east of J Street, leaving the community in mourning.
According to the initial police report, the 67-year-old scooter rider from Las Vegas was traveling on the sidewalk but had to veer into the road to avoid obstructions. It was during this maneuver that the scooter collided with the right front bumper of a car. The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the scooter, resulting in critical injuries.

Emergency services responded promptly and transported the injured rider to University Medical Center. Tragically, the Clark County Coroner's Office informed Metro Police today that the rider had passed away from his injuries.
