LAS VEGAS, CA (March 14, 2022) – Late in the afternoon on Sunday in North Las Vegas, a crash involving two motorcycles and an SUV killed two people. The March 13 crash occurred on E. Cheyenne Avenue, close to where Civic Center is located.

The time was roughly 5:30 p.m., North Las Vegas Police said.

Authorities said three motorcycles had been traveling on Cheyenne Avenue and heading east. The SUV was also traveling on Cheyenne Avenue, and going west.

According to Vince Booker, who is a sergeant with North Las Vegas Police, two of the motorcycles went into the lane of opposing traffic, and one of the motorcycles collided with the SUV.

Reports say two riders were killed in the crash. The identities of the two people--including their names, ages, genders, and cities of residence--have not been reported.

Responders transported a third motorcyclist to a hospital. The person has also not been identified, and the types of injuries suffered are not known.

Responders also took the driver of the SUV to the hospital. The types of injuries she suffered have not been reported, nor has her identity.

Investigators are continuing to work on the crash details.
