Truck Causes Chain Reaction Accident, Drives into House
February 10, 2012 | Car Accident
The Henderson Police Department says that a pick-up truck was responsible for hitting another truck, which then struck another car and then another vehicle, before it driving into an apartment complex.
The incident occurred near the 200 block of Bruce Way at 5:50 a.m. on Friday.
The red pick-up was leaving the parking lot of a 7-Eleven and traveling at a very high rate of speed when the accident happened.
The truck hit a black-pick-up truck when it entered the roadway. It then struck a ford Escort that was leaving an alley. The Escort then spun-around and hit another vehicle.
The red truck then spun around and hit the front of an apartment building. It left a sizeable hole in the front of the apartment.
No one in the red pick-up or the apartment was injured.
The driver of the Ford Escort and the other pick-up truck were both taken to the hospital for injuries relating to the accident.
The police did not indicate whether the driver of the red truck would be charged for causing the accident.
