Suspect in Deadly Pahrump Hit-and-run Crash is Arrested

PAHRUMP, CA (May 26, 2022) – The suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash last week in Pahrump was arrested. According to the Nye County Sheriff's Office, Jeremy O'Brien, 42 years old, is suspected of driving into a pedestrian on purpose.
The May 19 crash occurred at the Nugget Casino in Pahrump.
According to authorities, the victim suffered injuries that were fatal. The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Authorities arrested O'Brien on May 21; the charges he faces include murder.
Investigators are continuing to collect details and information about the hit-and-run crash.
