Pedestrian Struck in Las Vegas near Tropicana Dies Days Later

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 19, 2022) – On Thursday last week in Las Vegas, a pedestrian who was struck two days prior died from the injuries she suffered. The September 13 crash occurred on Cerrito Street where San Rafael Avenue intersects.
The time was roughly 8:15 a.m., Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.
The pedestrian was walking across Cerrito Street, according to police, and a vehicle--described as a Ford F-150 pickup truck--which was traveling on Cerrito, struck her.
Responders transported the victim to Sunrise Hospital. She died two days later, according to the Clark County Coroner's office.
The victim's identity--including name, age, and city of residence--has not been reported.
The person who was driving the vehicle involved in the crash has also not been identified.
Investigators are continuing their work to understand why the crash happened, and for that effort, they are collecting details and information.
