Henderson, NV (September 30, 2019)- Henderson Police Department is reporting the death of a 21-year old man who was struck and killed in a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision in Henderson late Sunday evening, September 30th. The collision was reported around 9:10 P.M. near the intersection of Sunset Road and Green Valley Parkway. According to Officer Rothmeyer with HPD, the 21-year old pedestrian was identified as Like Allen Hendrickson of Henderson.

Hendrickson was crossing Sunset Road outside of a marked crosswalk where he was struck by a 2010 Nissan sedan being driven by a 33-year old man. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene until first responders arrived and cooperated with authorities. Hendrickson was transported by ambulance to Sunrise Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead by medical personnel. A preliminary investigation indicated that alcohol or drugs did not play a factor in the collision.
