Overton, NV (November 13, 2018) - A woman was killed in a rollover accident on Tuesday evening November 13, 2018 in Overton. Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to a single-car rollover collision at around 10:37 P.M. on the northbound I-15, near mile marker 89. A red Ford Mustang was driven by an unidentified woman who drove off the roadway. The woman may have over-corrected her direction to the left which cause the vehicle to lose control and rollover. NHP stated the vehicle stopped in the center dirt median.

The woman in the passenger seat was ejected out of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. The woman driver was transported by helicopter to University Medical Center with critical but not life-threatening injuries, stated NHP. The cause of the crash was not immediately available. This is the 71st fatality in NHP Southern Command’s jurisdiction since the beginning of 2018.
