The Joining Forces Program has partnered with the Nevada Highway Patrol to combat drunken driving which is expected to rise during the holidays.
This increase may lead to more fatalities and injuries during this period.
Penalties for drunken driving may include fines, incarceration and possible loss of employment.
Nevada has seen an increase in fatalities from DUI's of 4% over the past year.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is encouraging drivers to use designated drivers when they plan to imbibe in alcohol.
