Nevada Biker Killed in Louisiana
April 26, 2012 | Motorcycle Accident
A Nevada native was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a stopped car and a truck subsequently crashed into him in Baton Rouge last Friday evening.
According to local police in Baton Rouge, 57-year-old Harley Made was riding his 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle on an entrance ramp to Interstate 10 at 7:30 p.m. when he attempted a dangerous pass on a car stopped because of traffic.
Instead of passing by the stopped car, the motorcycle crashed into the back of it, sending Made into the neighboring lane where he was then hit by a truck.
The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital after the accident, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he died Wednesday.
