Las Vegas, NV (October 4, 2018) – Officials have taken a man into custody after the vehicle he stole crashed and rolled over Thursday, October 4th, in the central valley, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said. The incident began at around 1:40 p.m. when a man, identified as 24-year-old Khiare Terrell Taylor, stole a car from a vehicle service business on North Nellis Boulevard, police said. According to reports, Taylor had access to the vehicle’s keys from a clipboard at the business, swiping them and the car before driving off.

Police located the stolen car using a vehicle-tracking service, after Taylor crashed into two other cars. Officers located the vehicle almost half an hour later when Taylor was speeding and crashed into a third vehicle, overturning the car in the southbound lanes of Rancho Drive on the U.S. 95, Metro police said. One person suffered minor injuries from the third vehicle hit by the stolen car, and was transported to a local hospital. Officers took Taylor into custody without issue.
