Multicar Wreck on Interstate 80 Causes Major Slowing

A multicar crash on Interstate 80 has closed down most lanes of the major highway, causing major slowing Wednesday morning.
According to Nevada police, the accident took place near Hirschdale Road along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 when multiple cars collided and clogged lanes.
Initial accident reports say that open person was ejected from their car in the accident, though the extent of that person’s injuries are not known, and the condition of the rest of the people in the crash is not yet known. A Car Flight Medical Helicopter was sent to the accident to retrieve any persons who received serious injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
