Multicar Crash Leaves One Dead

Three cars were involved in a fatal crash in Las Vegas Thursday night.
According to Metro Police, at about 9:50 p.m. a teenaged male in a Ford Mustang driving erratically and over the speed limit crossed into another lane, hitting a Chevrolet Suburban, causing the SUV to collide with a Honda sedan.
The sedan then spun out of control and burst into flames.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, and it is believed at this time that the driver of the Mustang is at fault for the fatality.
The accident took place near the intersection of Charleston and Sloan, forcing the closure of the area for several areas as crews cleared up the wreckage and the Metro Police Department’s fatal detail unit responded to the accident.
A full investigation of the crash is ongoing, and will determine of the teenaged driver will be charged for the death of the other driver. The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
