Motorcyclist Killed after Hitting Utility Pole

A motorcyclist was killed in eastern Las Vegas after hitting a utility pole in an accident on Saturday, according to the police department.
Carlos Barajas, 41, from Las Vegas, was killed when his motorcycle was rear-ended by a car causing the motorcycle to hit the curb and flip over the sidewalk. The motorcycle began sliding on its side. Eventually, the bike hit a utility pole. Barajas was killed on impact.
Barajas was traveling northbound on Hollywood Boulevard at 9:45 p.m. when the accident occurred. The accident occurred near North Access Road.
Police are still investigating the crash.
