The identity of the 20-year-old motorcyclist that was killed upon hitting a truck on Monday at the intersection of Ann Road and Rio Vista Street has been released.

According to the Clark County Coroner’s office, Daniel Nathan Vogol of Las Vegas died as a result of the injuries he sustained when he hit the side of a pickup truck making an opposite turn in an intersection.

Vogol, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was also carrying a passenger who sustained serious injuries, but survived.

The crash has been labeled as an accident and no charges are to be filed against the truck driver.
