A man suffered critical injuries after his motorcycle struck a parked car late Sunday night in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported the accident at 9:31 p.m. on East Morning Springs Drive at South Trombone Lane.
22-year-old Kyle Ryan was riding eastbound down Morning Springs on a 1998 Suzuki GSXR750 when witnesses say he attempted to make a turn and locked up his brakes, causing the bike to slide into a truck parked on the side of the road.
Ryan was immediately taken to nearby University Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
Investigators are looking into the accident to determine what other factors might be in play in the crash. There is no word as to whether excess speed or alcohol were factors.
