Motorcycle Cop Hit in Funeral Procession

A police officer was injured on Monday while escorting a funeral procession in Las Vegas. According to the official report, the officer collided with an SUV on Lone Mountain Road west of Tenaya Way around 12:10 p.m.
The SUV was also part of the funeral procession and was trying to make a U-turn when it collided with the officer. The motorcycle was traveling in the center lane when the SUV entered its path and tried to make the turn. The motorcycle collided with the SUV and veered off-course, causing the officer to be ejected from his seat.
The officer is reportedly in good condition and police are still investigating the incident.
