Moped Driver in Hospital after Crash

A moped rider was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after a life-threatening collision occurred.
The collision happened on Flamingo Road to the west of Annie Oakley Drive at around 9:30 a.m., according to police.
The 33-year-old moped rider was following a 2008 Honda when the Honda stopped short and the moped crashed into the rear end. The moped rider, Casey Belue, was taken immediate to a trauma center.
The crash remains under investigation.
