Man Struck by Van after Exiting the Bus

A mini-van hit a 56-year-old man after he exited the bus of Wednesday afternoon. He remains hospitalized as of Thursday afternoon.
The incident occurred between Lake Mead Boulevard and Rancho Drive.
A spokesperson for the hospital said that he is still in critical condition.
The victim, named Ervin Melton, was crossing the street about 200 yards from the crosswalk when he was struck by the mini-van, according to Las Vegas police.
