Man Struck by Car in Downtown Las Vegas

A car struck a pedestrian in western downtown Las Vegas on Wednesday morning, according to police.
Authorities say that the pedestrian was trying to cross the intersection between Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard at 6:25 a.m. when he was hit by the car. The collision knocked him off his feet and he landed just in front of a fire station.
According to reports the man suffered from a broken leg and was taken to the hospital.
No road closures were made at the time.
