Man Gets 12 Years in Prison for Fatal Drunk Driving Crash

A Las Vegas resident was sentenced to 12 years in prison after causing a fatal drunk driving accident that left another driver dead in downtown Las Vegas.
Jacques Norton was told to pay a $2,000 fine and $1,200 in restitution to the family of the victim.
According to police records, Norton was speeding in his PT Cruiser eastbound on E. Charleston Boulevard when he collided with a Mercedes, killing the driver.
Norton will be eligible for parole after he has served 32 months of his sentence.
