Las Vegas, NV - Crash on Craig and N. 5th Leaves 2 Injured in Critical Condition

North Las Vegas, NV (December 1, 2018) – 2 people were hospitalized in critical condition after a serious collision at a busy intersection in North Las Vegas Saturday morning December 1st. The incident took place at about 7:00 A.M. at the intersection of North 5th Street and Craig Road. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the driver of a silver pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on Craig Road towards North 5th Street with the victim traveling northbound on N. 5th Street in a red SUV.
It was determined that 1 of the vehicles ran a red traffic light and collided into the other with the fault not established. Officers at LVMPD stated that they believe the driver of the SUV of being impaired. Both drivers were transported via ambulance to University Medical Center where they were listed in critical condition by medical staff. 1 driver was reported to have been showing signs of recovery while the other remains in critical, but stable condition.
