Las Vegas Motorcycle Crash on Jones Blvd. Seriously Injures Rider

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 10, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, a motorcycle and a car collided, seriously injuring the rider. The October 9 crash occurred on Jones Boulevard in an area between Tropicana Avenue and Harmon Avenue.
The time was roughly 2:43 p.m., Las Vegas Metro Police said.
Reports say a car--described as a Honda Accord--had been stopped on Churchfield Boulevard at a stop sign. Authorities suspect the Honda executed a turn to the left.
The Honda and an oncoming motorcycle collided.
Responders transported the rider to University Medical Center for treatment.
His injuries were described as critical. His current condition is not known.
He was identified only as 44 years old. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
The person who was driving the Honda stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators.
The identity of the driver has not been reported, and it is not known if the person was hurt in the crash.
