Las Vegas placed number 144 on Allstate Insurance Company's annual America's Best Driver's Report. The report listed 200 major cities in which auto accidents occurred.
North Las Vegas ranked number 126. Henderson ranked number 96. Reno ranked number 7.
People in Las Vegas were said to have accidents 21% more frequently thank average. It was reported that every driver in the city would average a collision once in 8.3 years.
Las Vegas ranked 153 last year. Drivers were 28.7 more prone to have an accident than average in Las Vegas last year.
This is the sixth year of Allstate's analysis. Data used was taken from Allstate customers comprising 11% of all auto insurance policies in the U.S.
Fort Collins, Colorado was reported to be the safest city in which to drive.
Some of the worst cities listed were Hartford, Connecticut, Newark, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.
