Faith Hodgson Killed in Las Vegas Multi-vehicle Crash near Harry Reid Airport

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 1, 2022) – The Clark County coroner identified Faith Hodgson as the woman who was killed in a crash on Saturday involving multiple vehicles. The October 29 crash occurred close to Harry Reid International Airport, where East Hacienda Avenue and South Eastern Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 1:30 p.m., Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.
A vehicle--described as a Jeep Compass--had been heading north on Eastern Avenue, authorities said.
Another vehicle--described as a Hyundai Elantra--was stopped in the left turn lane on Hacienda Avenue facing west.
A third vehicle--described as Toyota Corolla--was stopped in a left turn lane on Hacienda facing east.
Police allege the Toyota and Hyundai made left turns on a green arrow, and the Jeep did not stop for a light that turned red.
The Hyundai and the Jeep collided, and the force of the collision sent the Hyundai spinning.
The Hyundai and the Toyota collided.
Responders transported Hodgson, who had been driving the Hyundai, to Sunrise Hospital. She died in the hospital.
Hodgson was a resident of Las Vegas, 24 years old.
Responders transported the Jeep's driver to Sunrise Hospital for treatment of injuries that were described as moderate.
The Jeep's driver was identified as Ramesh Hulugalle, 41 years old. Police arrested Hulugalle on suspicion of DUI.
The Toyota's driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators.
Reports do not say if the driver of the Toyota was hurt in the crash. The person's identity has not been reported.
Investigators are continuing their work on the crash.
