Distracted Driving Crackdown Yields Hundreds of Citations

An April 10th event held by the North Las Vegas Police Department to cut down on distracted driving issued hundreds of citations for cell phone usage and speeding.

The other citations issued during the event, according to NLVPD, included 36 driver's license violations, 9 registration violations, 19 equipment violations, 29 no insurance violations, 10 red light violations, 30 other violations, and 29 warnings issued.
