Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash Due to Drunk Driving

The accident that happened in southwestern Las Vegas on Sunday night just after the Super Bowl was alcohol-related, according to the Las Vegas Metro police.
At least three vehicles were involved with the crash that happened on Rainbow Boulevard near Wigwam Avenue at 8:48 p.m.
Apparently, a Toyota SUV was traveling southbound on Rainbow when it swerved into oncoming traffic in the northbound lanes and collided with a Ford Mustang and a Honda Pilot.
The driver of the Mustang, a 24-year-old, died at the scene. The 17-year-old driver of the Honda Pilot was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The 33-year-old driver of the Toyota SUV was transported to the hospital where she was later arrested for drunk driving.
There have been 13 driving-related fatalities in the Las Vegas area this year alone.
