Another Pedestrian Struck in Downtown Vegas

For the umpteenth time this year, a pedestrian was struck by a car while walking through a crosswalk in Las Vegas on Monday Night.
According to local police, a woman was attempting to cross the street on Desert Inn Road near Decatur at 7:30 p.m. when a vehicle struck her.
The woman was rushed to University Medical Center where she was treated for a head injury and a fractured leg. The driver was not injured in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle did not flee the scene, cooperating with police on the scene. It is unknown if the driver will face any charges as the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
