An elderly man was killed by a truck trying to cross Boulder Highway in Henderson late Tuesday night.
According to the Henderson Police Department, a 73-year-old man was attempting to cross the highway near West Warm Springs Road when 25-year-old Brandon Flick hit him with his 2001 Chevrolet truck.
Flick was traveling northbound of the highway when he traveled through an intersection with a green light when the accident took place.
An investigation by police indicates that excessive speed or alcohol was not involved in the accident. The name of the elderly man will be released when the coroner’s office has notified the family.
