Andrea Robles Killed in Las Vegas Two-vehicle Crash; DUI Suspect Arrested

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 29, 2022) – Early in the morning on Saturday in Las Vegas, a two-vehicle crash involving a suspected DUI driver killed Andrea Robles. The November 26 crash occurred in the west central valley, on West Flamingo Road near South Lindell Road.
The time was roughly 3:46 a.m., Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.
According to authorities, video recorded by surveillance cameras and witness accounts show a vehicle--described as a Hyundai Sonata--traveling on West Flamingo Road and heading westbound.
Authorities allege the Hyundai was traveling at a fast speed.
A vehicle--described as a Dodge Dart--had been traveling on West Flamingo Road and going east.
The Dodge made a turn to the left, and the two vehicles collided, according to reports.
The force of the crash caused the two vehicles to erupt in flames, reports say.
Responders pronounced the driver of the Dodge deceased at the crash site.
The person was identified as Andrea Robles, 43 years old.
Responders found the driver of the Hyundai suffered injuries that were described as serious.
Reports say authorities arrested the Hyundai's driver. The person was identified as Yonas Nera, 19 years old.
The charges Nera faces have not yet been reported.
Investigators are continuing to gather information and details to understand the crash.
