More than 50,000 Acura vehicles are being recalled after an investigation found a faulty component that could lead to a dangerous fluid leak.

According to the official statement released from the major automaker, the recall will cover a few more than 52,000 TL model sedans from the 2007 and 2008 model years over a steering hose that has the potential to cause a loss in steering assistance, smoke, and even fire.

The hose has been shown to leak its power steering fluid which could theoretically leak out onto a catalytic converter, resulting in smoke or fire.
