Woman Killed In Downtown Crash Identified

The woman killed as a result of the injuries she received after a collision with another vehicle near downtown Las Vegas on Thursday has been identified.
According to the Clark County coroner’s office, 64-year-old Ermee Beatoribio was killed after her Dodge sedan collided with a Ford van at the intersection of East Gass Avenue and South 4th Street.
The 64-year-old woman and her 75-year-old passenger were transported to University Medical Center after the accident. The driver was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital; her passenger was treated for moderate injuries.
The 20-year-old driver of the Ford van remained on the scene to answer questions for police and received only minor injuries.
Fault in the accident is still being investigated; it is not known if either driver ran through a red light or if a medical episode could have played a role.
