A pedestrian hit in a fatal hit and run accident last week in west Las Vegas has been identified.
The Clark County Coroner’s office has officially announced that 61-year-old John Colatruglio was killed as a result of blunt force trauma when he was hit by a red Ford Taurus while walking outside a crosswalk on West Tropicana Avenue, near Arville Street.
The driver of the Ford sedan fled the scene after the accident, and police are still on the lookout for the suspect. The license plate of the vehicle is 541-XTS.
Police are asking for any information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect or the location of the vehicle.
