A two car crash on Interstate 15 has left multiple injured and traffic backed up Thursday afternoon.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident took place at 2 p.m. on the I-15 at the Sahara fly-over ramp when two cars collided, rolling one of them.

Police on the scene say that there were multiple injuries as a result of the accident, but they could not specify how many people were involved, or the extent of the injuries. It appeared that none of the injuries were life-threatening.

The highway was closed down to clean up the wreck, and an investigation is ongoing to determine what caused the crash.
