The Nevada Highway Patrol has yet to determine the cause of an accident that took the life of an 81-year-old man last week.
According to accident reports, the elderly man, David Hermansen, was killed when his 1976 Chevrolet Nova drifted into the oncoming lane of the US 95 when it struck the rear axels of a semi-trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
