North Las Vegas Crash on North Pecos Road Kills Bicyclist

LAS VEGAS, CA (July 11, 2022) – Early in the morning on Saturday in North Las Vegas, a crash on North Pecos Road killed a bicyclist. The July 9 crash occurred close to East Gowan Road.
The time was roughly 2:30 a.m., North Las Vegas police said.
Reports say police allege a person in a pickup truck was driving in a reckless manner on North Pecos Road. The pickup truck hit a light pole, struck a bicyclist who was on the sidewalk, and then smashed into a wall.
Responders pronounced the bicyclist deceased at the crash site. His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The driver's identity is not known from reports, which also do not say if the person was hurt in the crash.
Investigators are continuing their work on the collision. If anyone has information about the incident, the person can contact North Las Vegas Police.
