Head-On Collision on Route 157

Three people are recovering from injuries as two cars collided head on in Las Vegas Monday night.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the crash took place on State Route 157, also known as Kyle Canyon Road, just after 6 p.m. around mile marker 9.
The accident put all three occupants in the crash into University Medical Center where they are being treated for various injuries. One of the victims had to be airlifted from the scene.
At this time there is no word on what caused the accident, and an investigation is underway to determine who was at fault and whether or not charges should be filed.
