Two men are recovering from gunshot wounds early Monday morning after a fight in from of a Carson City Bar.

According to local police reports, a bartender at Toads Bar called in a fight taking place out front of the building, near a taxi cab. When police arrived on the scene one of the men, 21-year-old Emanuel Moreno, pulled out a gun and shot another man in the spine.

Officers responded by putting a bullet into Moreno’s left hand. After the shot the people at the fight scattered, including Moreno, who later appeared at Renown Medical Center, saying that he had been in a fight in Reno.

The victim who was shot was also taken to Renown Medical Center.

When Moreno is finished with the treatment for his injuries in the incident, he will be arrested for attempted murder. He is reported to have an outstanding warrant and is a known gang member.
