A bicyclist died on Wednesday after being hit by a car and then by a sport-utility vehicle, according to police reports.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Fort Apache and Flamingo roads at 8:30.
The bicyclist was going southbound when he swerved slightly into the path of a Toyota Scion and the Scion hit his back wheel.
The impact sent the bicyclist into the path of an oncoming SUV, who could not stop in time to avoid hitting the bicyclist
The 18-year-old bicyclist was riding a BMX bike at the time of the accident. He died at the scene.
