Motorcyclist Killed on Spencer Street and Tropicana

Wednesday December 24, 2021 - Las Vegas, NV - On Wednesday night, in the east valley, Las Vegas police responded to a crash that left a motorcyclist dead.
Officers reported to a crash at approximately 7:33 p.m. near Spencer Street and Tropicana Avenue involving a 2020 Chevrolet Voyager and a motorcycle, according to police.
The police said after their investigation that the 24 year old motorcyclist was "riding recklessly by splitting travel lanes and exceeding the speed limit."
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident after officials from the Clark County Fire Department tried to render aid but were ultimately unsuccessful.
The crash is still being investigated and is the 147th traffic related fatality of 2021 in LVMPD’s jurisdiction.
