Man Struck By Car On Tropicana Avenue in Critical Condition

Las Vegas, NV (November 15, 2021) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a critical injury collision that occurred in the early hours of Monday morning.
Officers were summoned to respond to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian sometime around 1:30 A.M. near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Koval Lane.
According to the police report, a male pedestrian was reported to have darted out in front of a 2017 Toyota Sienna on Tropicana Avenue where he was struck by the Toyota Sienna. The pedestrian, only identified as a 43 year-old male, was transported to Sunrise Memorial Hospital where he was treated for critical injuries. It is unclear the current status of the pedestrian following publication of this report. Traffic was closed on the eastbound Tropicana Avenue so that on-scene detectives could conduct their investigation. According to first responders who arrived at the scene, the driver of the 2017 Toyota Sienna, a male aged 46-years old, did not show any signs or symptoms of impairment. The investigation continues.
