Las Vegas, NV (December 29, 2018) - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police detectives are investigating the death of a nail salon employee who was run-over by a customer in Las Vegas Saturday afternoon December 29th. According to a preliminary investigation, the unidentified suspect went into the nail salon located in the 4900 block of West Flamingo Road to get a manicure.

The suspect, identified as a woman in her mid-20s, tried to leave the nail salon without paying after her credit card had been declined. Witnesses stated that the woman “went to her car to get money” and then attempted to leave. The suspect’s manicurist and her husband, who also works at the nail salon, tried to stop the woman from leaving. The manicurist stood in front of the suspect’s car but the woman drove over manicurist and dragged her about 50 ft. First responders arrived and transported the manicurist to University Medical Center where she was pronounced dead a short time after arriving. Officers later found the suspect’s vehicle, which was a rental car, at a nearby apartment complex. Police had not found the woman as of Saturday night.
