North Las Vegas, NV- A 41-year old woman was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead following a deadly crash in North Las Vegas on Christmas Eve. The Incident took place at around 12:30 P.M. near East Lake Mead Boulevard and Palmer Street. Police stated the victims were traveling westbound on Lake Mead Boulevard when the suspect, identified as 41-year old Chavez Solórzano, hit the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle. According to first respondents a female passenger in the first vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 14-year old boy was treated at the scene and then transported to the University Medical Hospital where he was being treated for serious injuries. Both drivers were also taken to University Medical Center and treated for minor injuries. Chavez was arrested at the scene and taken to Clark County Detention Center where he was booked on 3 counts of Felony Reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm.
