Reno, NV (KOLO) November 14, 2018 - The collision happened just after 8 p.m. on November 10, 2018 on a part of Matley Lane that runs directly next to the interstate I-580.

A sedan and an SUV were found and seemed to have gotten off the road, crashed through multiple trees and fencing, and landed on the property of the RTC Operations and Maintenance Facility on Villanova. The preliminary investigation states two separate collisions had taken place near each other, but several minutes apart.

There’s no evidence that connects both crashed, police are hoping to review the surveillance video to see how one crash lead to another.

Two passengers in the Sedan have major injuries, one if which is life threatening and were transported to Renown Regional Medical Center. The 22 year old driver of the Sedan, Dillen Williamson, was also transported to the hospital. He was then released with charges of reckless driving and two counts of felony DUI- Alcohol causing significant bodily harm.

The second vehicle’s driver was not severely injured but was also arrested at the scene. Juan Chavez-Macias age 39 is charged with DUI-Alcohol, failure to maintain lane and driver’s license required.

No RTC routes were affected that Sunday, the RTC reported. The damages are still being evaluated but one vehicle did hit and empty parked bus.
