RENO, NV – Reno Police are investigating the cause of a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision that occurred in Reno early Wednesday evening, February 6th. The incident occurred shortly after 5:30 P.M. when officers responded to reports of a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision that occurred on Wells Avenue and Willow Street. According to Reno Police, the pedestrian was attempting to cross the street outside of a marked crosswalk and was struck by a passing vehicle.
First responders arrived and transported the pedestrian to Regional Medical Center where she was treated for a broken leg and lacerations to the head. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. At this time detectives have determined that there was no impairment involved in the collision.
