A motorcycle rider died in a crash with an SUV in northern Phoenix on Thursday morning. The crash occurred on Cave Creek Road at Loop 101 at 6:45 a.m. according to police.
Apparently, the SUV was traveling eastbound on the access road and the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Cave Creek when the collision occurred.
Impairment does not appear to be a factor, according to reports. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
